Nirma Jesuthasan, B.Eng., M.Eng., Ph.D.

Practice Lead – Engineering, Research & Funding Management

Dr. Nirma Jesuthasan is an avid mechanical engineer with 15+ years of experience in engineering and research planning, execution and funding. He is well versed in the procurement of strategic funding for engineering research and technology development projects, including the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentive program that is administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). He has prepared over 300 SR&ED claims and helped companies recover more than 25 million dollars in tax refunds. He has also provided strategy and support to successfully counter disputes with CRA in relation to SR&ED claims.

Nirma has a strong background in the design of experiments and computational modeling of physical phenomena. He is an advocate of lean and six-sigma practices to improve company engineering and research operations, and innovation. His research experience includes design, fabrication and modeling of loop heat pipes (LHPs) for thermal management of ground and space applications. His research work also includes: porous media, granular material flow, multi-phase transport phenomena in ducts, particle-image velocimetry (PIV), particle-tracking velocimetry (PTV), and software development for computer-assisted-engineering (CAE) analysis. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including a Canadian Space Agency (CSA) research award.


George Kehayas, PMP

Practice Lead – Operations Management

George Kehayas is the founder and principal of Yokoten Operations Management. He has spent over 30 years driving organizational change within Toyota Motor Manufacturing and with supporting the supplier base companies. Through Yokoten Operations Management, George brings his unique skill-set and passion for strategy, people and process improvements to the global marketplace.

As a top-performing and innovative Senior Level Leader, George has honed his expertise for spearheading project management practices, to coincide with the implementation of successful operations management solutions. He has been driving organizational change for his entire career and has done so with an honest, open minded approach, dedication and vision.

George has focused on project and operations management, team member development, process improvement and has a broad range of organizational and change management talents.

He is skilled at executing short and long-term future visioning, strategic planning and organizational coordination and he has a demonstrated record of implementing new production methodologies and operational streamlining, which have impacted production & engineering change lead times, driven efficiencies and have dramatically reduced costs. In addition, George has been involved in vital systems standardization that reached North American benchmark levels and exceeded cost reduction targets.


Jonathan Ofori, BSc., CHRP

Practice Lead – Human Resources

Jonathan is the founder and principal of Broadbase HR, an organization known for its consultative approach, sound delivery, and accountability. Jonathan takes great pride in having built relationships with leading companies in Finance, Technology, Healthcare and Manufacturing. His achievements have earned him perennial President’s Club citations, as well as a Lifetime Achievement award from his former employer.

His credentials include over 20 years of experience in both corporate and agency human resources services, and he is a trusted resource for talent attraction and retention strategy. Jonathan has built agile payrolling solutions for enterprises undergoing major reorganizations, and has also overseen large Managed Staffing Programs (MSPs) with strict service level agreements (SLAs).

Holding a Bachelor of Sciences and the Certified Human Resources Professional designation gives Jonathan the ability to assess the human resource requirements of both day-to-day operations as well as strategic projects. Jonathan uses this knowledge to help clients secure the resources they need to fulfill their mandates, and to remain compliant with human resources legislation.
